Data Policy - Data Privacy Policy

Rev. August 20, 2026: Swivel Gun XR: Treasure Hunt (on Meta Quest) uses the following Meta Horizon Platform features, which involve processing limited data from your Meta account:

​

• User ID — used by the Meta Platform SDK to verify app entitlement and to associate in-game achievement progress with your Meta account. This is used only for these direct calls to Meta at the time they occur; Pixels of Eight does not separately log, store, or export this value.

• User Age Group — used once per session to check whether your account is confirmed as 13 or older. This determines whether certain in-app links (our Discord community invite and cross-promotional links to our other apps) are shown to you. If your account's age group cannot be confirmed as 13+, these links stay hidden. This value is not stored, used for advertising, or shared with any third party.

Aside from these two values — which are processed transiently through Meta's own Platform APIs and never retained by us — no other data is retrieved, stored, or retained by the app other than what the device automatically collects, and settings/scores/playerpref data saved locally on your own device. Pixels of Eight never sees your locally saved settings or score data.

Because User ID and User Age Group are processed transiently through Meta's Platform APIs and are not stored by Pixels of Eight, there is no app-side copy for us to delete. We will respond to any deletion request within 30 days. Any data Meta itself retains about your account is governed by Meta's own privacy policy and account settings.
